Home workout: Focus = Power and speed

The intent and goal is to move as fast as you can maintaining technical proficiency.

Go for 5 rounds of each. Once you feel your performance drop, can’t swing or snatch the bell, jump as high, run as fast or you need to rest longer the workout is over.

Here we go. Social distance home programs for “sheltering” w/ COVID-19. Minimal or no equipment sustainable strength session. Patient has history of Bi knee pain (AI: running & quad stretch or crouch) & LBP (squats & DL). Goal run. Get pointed in the right direction by 60th birthday next month. & set sail for greatest fitness of his life so by age 70 healthier than ever. Our biological age not our chronological age should be the # of candles we blow out! Build the foundation.

during this time of uncertainty, sometimes people need a little nudge to encourage them to stay active & optimistic. as the FPM community, we believe in lifestyle medicine & giving people positive experiences with movement to mitigate disease. craig asked me to share my post from IG today to maybe get the ball rolling on more content that simply acts as an example of how to be active even under the worst of climates. enjoy!
