3rd workout for the week. This one is quick, and a little advanced so I will give some modifications in the comments.
Strength base:
Warm up to the heavy, but comfortable, pistol squat. (Top for me was 32kg)
Warm up to a heavy, but comfortable press. Single and/or double. (Top single press was 32kg, too double was 24kg. I was limited here with both because I don’t know – 32kg and I don’t have doubles heavier than 24kg)
3×5 heavy pull ups.
2×5 body weight pull ups
Find a comfortable but challenging number of snatches to perform OTM for 5 minutes (meaning you’ll be challenged but your technique won’t break down). This should be between 5-10 each hand. If its less than 5 find a lighter bell, if it’s over 10 find a heavier bell. I chose 7 each hand. The video I shared is minute 4. This was the last 7s I did because I felt I didn’t challenge myself. So for the 5th minute I did 7s, then another 5 each hand without putting the bell down. So I totalled 80 over 5 minutes instead of my planned 70.
Finish out with 10 farmer’s carries, no rest, in whatever space you have to work. My carries shown were uneven bc I didn’t have heavy enough doubles, so I stopped only long enough to switch hands. (One 28kg and one 32kg).
