Learn how to build your dream practice from us - Craig Liebenson, Ryan Chow, Donald Mull, and Katie Dabrowski - who have done it all over the country in the most competitive markets of Miami, NYC, LA, and San Diego. In an industry where provider burnout, patients given underdosed and low level rehab experiences, and the separation of training and rehab are the norm, we want to show you how it doesn't have to be. 

Being confident helping complex cases takes a ton of practice. This is your opportunity to learn directly from our playbook, in person, during this 3-day experience. Our goal is to show you how limitless client and patient care is when you  focus on listening to the person's story, learn about their current capacities and tolerances, learn about the capacities and tolerances required for what they need to do on the field and in their life, and address the gaps between the two. The freedom of escaping diagnosis-driven care is what it's all about.

We are also honored to have Coach Jonas Dodoo as our featured speaker to teach us his guiding principles on speed, change of direction, and application tools to a spectrum of clientele. And as a guest of our weekend of growth, exploring movement, and diving into how to make our industry better, lunch will be provided.

We are able to expose people to their abilities to do more than they ever thought possible - instead of parroting societal ideas of hurt = harm, aging and physical decline are inevitable and there's nothing you can do about it, bodies break down and are fragile, etc. We have a playbook and principles to guide us with any person who walks in our door - care is not diagnosis driven, but human-centric. 

Basic themes this weekend: How can we build greater tolerance to valued activities? What is the role of graded exposures (especially to feared stimuli)?

FPM’s Precision Program on Days 2 & 3 will be all interactive to address these 12 discussion areas related to your environment & the population you serve.

  1. How to address people’s desire to know the cause of their pain.
  2. How to address people’s expectations for passive care/recovery work or feeling that they are too sensitive to exercise
  3. How to build trust through relatedness in goal setting – ie achieving “sense making” & an infinite game mindset
  4. How to create a checklist for a screen of fundamental movement literacies from which to determine a safe starting point for exercise
  5. How to build a resilient mindset for addressing lifestyle pain triggers that predispose, precipitate, & perpetuate pain
  6. How to link strength training to an individual’s Key Performance Indicators for the activities they value (eg their identity)
  7. How to utilize trainable menus of basic training elements to find each person’s sweet zone for recoverable adaptation
  8. How to support the process of behavior change through flare-ups & plateaus by focusing on landmarks over timelines.
  9. How to create sustainable consistency with physical activity through nudges, community, debriefs, etc.
  10. Learn how to tie different systems & methods together efficiently.
  11. Observe case studies followed by Interactive discussion & problem-solving for your population.

  12. Make training fun: How to hide “the skill in the drill” – gamification & the ecological approach.

Meet the Instructors

Special Guest

Jonas Dodoo

Jonas Tawiah-Dodoo is the head coach and founder of Speedworks. He was a part of the UK Athletics Apprentice Coach program in the four-year lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics, working with world-renowned coaches Dan Pfaff and Stuart McMillan. His experience in sport is not limited to athletics, as he has worked with rugby for several years.

Since graduating from the Apprentice Coach program, Jonas has worked closely with a number of talented young sprinters. His most recent prodigy is Reece Prescod, the 2018 European Champion 100m sprinter.



Craig Liebenson, D.C.

Dr. Liebenson is the Founder of First Principles of Movement and Director of L.A. Sports & Spine, a pain management, rehabilitation & performance enhancement center providing one on one musculoskeletal care. He is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chiropractic, Division of Health Sciences at Murdoch University, Perth Australia and consultant for the the Anglo-European Chiropratic College M.Sc. programs in Chiropractic Rehabilitation. The first ever chiropractic member of the McKenzie Institute (U.S.) Board of Directors he serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals including the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation; the PM&R Journal of Injury, Function and Rehabilitation; the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy; and Journal of Manual Therapy.


Ryan Chow, D.P.T

Ryan Chow received his bachelor’s degree in Movement Science at the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Mercy College. Ryan began his career as a personal trainer and enjoys bringing his strength and conditioning experience into his clinical approach. He sees Dr. Liebenson’s patients, serving as LA Sports and Spine’s NY location and Founder of Reload Physical Therapy where he practices physical rehabilitation and preparation. He serves as the Director of Communications at FPM and is happy to get you connected with your local FPM community (Don’t hesitate to reach out!). He also holds positions an curriculum director at Definitions Private Training Gyms and has an adjunct faculty position at the Focus Personal Training Institute.


Donald Mull, D.C.

Dr. Donald Mull received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of La Verne where he also played football. His close relationship with his Strength Coach as well as his love and curiosity in health through performance led him to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Southern California University. There he was the president of the Rehab 2 Performance club while completing his Doctorate with Magna Cum Laude honors. He is the owner and co-founder of Kinetic Impact Rehab and Performance (a clinic-gym hybrid) in San Diego, CA. He provides guidance and care to those who are in pain as well as coaches those who are looking to increase their fitness or perform at higher levels (both 1 on 1 and small group settings). His favorite part of what he does is teaching those in pain how to introduce safe activity back into their lives and show how the gift of injury can lead to becoming healthier and more resilient than ever. Away from the office and work life he enjoys playing basketball and training in the gym like an athlete.


Katie Dabrowski, D.P.T.

Dr. Katie Dabrowski earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Nova Southeastern University, where she was also a member of the NCAA Division II Women’s Rowing Team. After working in the neuroscience research world, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Miami. Katie knew she wanted to disrupt healthcare from day one. She is co-owner of Old Bull Athletics, which has two locations in Miami, Florida, and is a 100% one-on-one, non-insuranced hybrid model spanning the spectrum of rehabilitation to performance. She is also an undergraduate neuroscience faculty member at Nova Southeastern University. Her passion as a clinician and educator is to blend the worlds of strength and movement with neuroscience, rehabilitation, and performance.

Our aim at FPM is to help people see that we all have to train for the game.

We’re older younger because we are inactive. The silver lining of MSK pain is learning we’re bioplastic – we adapt. With exposure to appropriate stress stimuli, adaptation occurs resulting in increased tolerance and greater resilience.
