Lead Faculty
Craig Liebenson, D.C.
Dr. Liebenson is the Founder of First Principles of Movement and Director of L.A. Sports & Spine, a pain management, rehabilitation & performance enhancement center providing one on one musculoskeletal care. He is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chiropractic, Division of Health Sciences at Murdoch University, Perth Australia and consultant for the the Anglo-European Chiropratic College M.Sc. programs in Chiropractic Rehabilitation. The first ever chiropractic member of the McKenzie Institute (U.S.) Board of Directors he serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals including the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation; the PM&R Journal of Injury, Function and Rehabilitation; the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy; and Journal of Manual Therapy.

Ryan Chow, D.P.T.
Ryan Chow received his bachelor’s degree in Movement Science at the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Mercy College. Ryan began his career as a personal trainer and enjoys bringing his strength and conditioning experience into his clinical approach. He sees Dr. Liebenson’s patients, serving as LA Sports and Spine’s NY location and Founder of Reload Physical Therapy where he practices physical rehabilitation and preparation. He serves as the Director of Communications at FPM and is happy to get you connected with your local FPM community (Don’t hesitate to reach out!). He also holds positions an curriculum director at Definitions Private Training Gyms and has an adjunct faculty position at the Focus Personal Training Institute.

Laura Latham, D.C.
Dr Laura Latham received her bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut. She continued her education at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY where she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honors Society. Laura’s post-graduate education led her to the field of physical rehab, sports medicine and completion of a 200 hour registered yoga teacher training. She is currently a clinician and co-owner of Back Bay Health and Performance, a physical rehabilitation and functional medicine center in Boston, Massachusetts. She regularly delivers hands-on, pain and injury educational workshops for personal trainers and yoga instructors in the Boston area. Her favorite part about being a clinician is empowering people. Through movement, education, breathing, and hands-on treatment, she helps people realize their true potential.

Chad Buohl, D.C., D.A.C.R.B., ACSM-CPT
Dr. Chad D. Buohl obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1999 and established a private practice in rural, East Berlin, PA. He currently is the Clinical Director of East Berlin Chiropractic and Rehabilitation and enjoys teaching post-graduate courses relating to neuromusculoskeletal evidence-based care pertaining to assessing, prescribing, and demonstrating exercise as medicine. Dr. Buohl loves to share and educate the positive message of self-exploration pertaining to health performance in lecture and lab experience.

Joseph Chen, D.C. L.Ac.
Dr. Joseph Chen is a former intern and associate at Los Angeles Sports and Spine. He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010. He also has a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. He has volunteered at Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Clinic in El Monte, California as an acupuncture intern for two years prior to moving back Asia in 2017. He is currently working at a hospital in Shanghai as a Doctor of Rehabilitation integrating functional approach and movement therapy to his clinical practice.

Ståle Hauge, D.C., M.Sc.
Ståle Hauge graduated from Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1986. He is currently co-owner of two busy multidisciplinary practices in a small Norwegian costal town, Sandefjord. During postgraduate master studies at AECC he met Dr. Craig Liebenson and has been privileged to be an assistant instructor at his courses in Norway and several other countries throughout Europe. Dr. Hauge has also instructed his own courses on Functional Evaluation and Diagnosis and Clinical Rehabilitation, material mainly based on Dr. Liebenson’s work.
Ståle Hauge agrees with professor Stuart McGill in that “there is no such thing as nonspecific LBP”, and that “they each have an individual cause”. This basic idea strongly influences his clinical approach, the setup of his practices and his instructing.
Dr. Hauge has throughout his career been very interested in Sports Chiropractic, which has resulted in volunteer work at several top-level athletic events, for instance Sydney and London Summer Olympics and World Games. He has until recently held executive positions in FICS.

Hang-jin Kim, D.C.
Dr. Kim is the CEO and Co-Founder of Modern Pilates International, with over 70 Pilates locations in Korea, Australia, Japan, and Thailand. He is also the CEO and Founder of Chungdahm Modern Pilates International, focusing on high-profile Korean clients. Through his organization OrthoFit Body Works he provides seminars, classes, clinics and publications in Korea featuring instructors from around the world. He’s given lectures, workshops, and seminars around the world and has published over 18 books.

Raymond Lee, P.T.

Raymond Lee is a Physiotherapist and a Personal Trainer residing at South Korea and is currently operating his own gym facility opened for general public to private members.
His passion on rehab & strength training started due to the chronic low back pain that started during his military service. After experiencing improvement from active training was the moment when he decided change his career by attending Physio Therapy degree course at 28.
His main focus is rehabilitation using various strength training methods.

Joe Lipsky, P.T., D.P.T.
Joe earned his B.S. in Applied Psychology at Farmingdale University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University Medical School. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from National Strength and Condition Association. Joe uses the combined experiences from his doctorate and continuing education to deliver a unique blend of rehabilitation and performance therapy to clients at Reload in NYC. He has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels, with experience in the professional and collegiate level. Outside of Reload, Joe loves playing soccer, hiking and traveling to new places.

Rachel Lock, D.C., M.Sc.
Rachel Lock is a chiropractor who encourages active, self-oriented care with all her patients at her London clinic. She graduated from the AECC in 1986 and later completed her M.Sc. in Clinical Chiropractic in 2001. From there her keen interest in rehabilitation of the spine led her to study with Dr. Karel Lewit in Prague. It was here that she learnt first hand the importance of teaching a patient the technique of self-care. Since then she has assisted Dr. Craig Liebenson with his Functional Approach to Rehabilitation courses across Europe. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and is involved with their postgraduate education programmes. This teaches high quality care, where exercise and promoting increased activity is the key.
